About the Course
Public procurement is governed by a comprehensive regulatory and legal regime. It is essential that officials in the public sector dealing with procurement are aware of and know how to stay clear of legal and procedural pitfalls and demonstrate an understanding of how the procurement operation should function from the CPP through to the end of the procurement cycle.
Mistakes can be extremely costly for the public body concerned. Challenging compliance issues must be overcome in a manner that ultimately delivers best value for the public purse. This course provides a practical overview of public procurement principles, policies and procedures within the wider context of procurement best practice.
