Connecting the Public Sector, You and Your Leadership – Dave Barry.

Public Sector
Looking at the Overall Public Service Perspective, as of July, midway through 2019.

  1. WHY/HOW we operate (Culture)
  2. WHAT’s our plan (Strategy)
  3. WHO we value (People)

With much public expectation around the Our Public Service 2020 strategy of Delivering for our Public, Innovating for our Future, and Developing our People and Organisations, is there clarity and alignment as to this year’s expectations of leadership and HR re achieving same?

If not, this will feel both frustrating and overwhelming. What or who can help here?

Where are you on your journey of tangibly connecting:

  1. WHY/HOW you operate? (You)
  2. WHAT’s your plan? (Career)
  3. WHO you value? (People)

For going forward, we must look back, via three quick self-explorations.

Your Leadership
Where are you right now regarding the following?

  1. Your leadership style
  2. Your potential gaps
  3. Your development
