About the Course
Personal effectiveness – incorporating self-confidence, achievement, drive & commitment, initiative, team-working and communications – is one of the PMDS’ four behavioural competency clusters.
At the end of this workshop, participants will be equipped with the necessary skills to manage themselves more effectively so as to enhance their use of time. It will be very practical and, at the end, attendees will be required to draw up an action plan to implement in their own workplace.
Discussion Topics will include:
- The importance of one’s own attitude towards time
- Identifying personal ‘time leaks’
- How to manage time
- Dealing with stress
- Analysing real-life scenarios based on the most common time wasters and identifying ways to improve personal handling of these
- The use of a time management model on a day-to-day basis
This workshop is suitable for all public servants seeking to make the most of their working day and become an effective and efficient team player
